Hauts-de-Seine
Hauts-de-Seine was created on January 1, 1968, bringing together the western end of the former département, Seine, and a small part of Seine-et-Oise. Thanks to its residential towns, such as Meudon, Sévres, Reuil Malmaison and Issy-les-Moulineaux, this département has gained in popularity for those looking to stay close to the city center, while enjoying a more “provincial” lifestyle.
Val-de-Marne
Val-de-Marne is part of the Ile-de-France region. This urban department lies close to Paris, while preserving a number of rare agricultural areas, located at the southeast end near the plateau de la Brie. Vincennes, Fontenay-sous-Bois, and Ivry-sur-Seine are towns where you can enjoy an excellent quality of life, while remaining close to Paris.
Yvelines
Yvelines is becoming more and more popular for those looking to acquire either a primary or secondary residence. Located a half hour west of Paris’ city center, this region allows people to experience countryside living or spend a pleasant weekend outdoors, while working in the city.
